Basketball Ministry
Sports are a great forum to apply Christian values. Thanks to the many basketball-loving adults in our church and Cameron House community who are volunteering as coaches and referees, a new generation of youth learn the right skills, attitude and love of the game.

During the summer of 2009 we fielded teams in three divisions: 16 and younger, young adults and women.
Our teams play in the Chinese Christian Union League.

Allan Tan won the Most Inspirational Award for the 16-under division. Out of every player on all six teams, Allan was recognized as showing a Christian attitude on and off the court. He led the team in many ways, never complained to the referees and just represented PCC very well.
In a tight game on August 1, the Cameron House team bested the team from CIBC to win the Gold Division championship. The team, consisting of young adults from ages 17-30, came together to win their last five games, constantly lifted by it's many supporters.
Players from both teams enjoyed a season of fellowship and growth. Thanks to the Chinese Christian Union committee for coordinating such a fantastic league.
