Youth Ministry Leader

The English Commission of the Presbyterian Church in Chinatown is searching for a Youth Ministry Leader, who is enthusiastic about sharing the restoring and healing love of Christ with high school-age youth. Currently, there are 6 – 10 youth. Our hope is to grow this group.

This person would work under the supervision of our Interim Pastor. This is a one-year position – starting immediately - with possibility of extension.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 10 - 12 hours per week, including Sundays
  (worship, study and fellowship).
• Weekly communication with youth and parents.
• Participation in a weekly Presbyterian Church in
  Chinatown adult or young adult study.
• Lesson preparation
• Preparation for monthly youth involvement
  in the 10:45am worship
• Regular check-in time with theological reflection
  with Interim Pastor
• Attendance and leadership during retreats,
  including Memorial Day Family Retreat
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
