David Mote was born in Tucson, Arizona, grew up mostly in California and graduated from Palo Alto High School. His undergraduate work was in physics at Harvard, and he studied for the ministry at Union Theological Seminary in New York City. He has served as pastor of Presbyterian churches in Colorado, Utah and California. This is his third interim pastorate. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, cooking, reading, and time with family.
