Bring Your Cranes in for Landing

Bring Your Cranes In For Landing!

Thanks to all of you, we believe we are reaching our goal of folding 500 origami cranes for the Tsuru for Solidarity project.

Now it’s time for all of you folders to bring your cranes in for landing.  Put your cranes in an envelope or bag. Drop them off by August 1 at either (1) PCC on Saturdays from 11:30-1:30 to Susie Wong at our Food Pantry, OR (2) Cameron House, Monday through Friday 10:00-5:00, to Joshua. Ring the doorbell and hand your cranes over. If there is no answer, leave the cranes on the CH porch, and someone will retrieve them as soon as possible.

You can also mail your cranes in an envelope to: Cameron House, 920 Sacramento Street, San Francisco, CA 94108, Attn: Presbyterian Church in Chinatown M&E Cranes.

All of the cranes will thereafter be strung into 4” lengths by our volunteers, and sent to Tsuru for Solidarity. Thanks to everyone who participated in this crane-folding project. Each crane is an expression of our support and solidarity with immigrant and refugee communities that are being targeted by inhumane and racist immigration policies.
