NEW - Introducing Taiji Tuesdays

As we are SIP, are you looking to get more exercise into your day?  Are you looking for a way to move to gain mobility, balance and strength?  If you have not tried Taiji then this is your chance to try something new.

Norma Fong Chan will be leading a six-week series of Taiji classes via Zoom starting in November. Taiji is an internal martial art. The focus of the series will be on the “Nine Pearls” (moving our joints) along with coordinating our feet, waist and hands together to help the energy or “chi” in our body flow.  It is an effective way to develop balance for body, mind and spirit.

Norma has been studying Taiji (Taijiquan) for over 12 years and enjoys sharing this art for better health. This series will be an introduction to Taiji with an emphasis on health exercises versus martial art forms. All ages, young and not-so-young, are welcome to join as the moves will be modified as needed to meet different levels. You will move at your own pace.

Class is scheduled on TUESDAYS at 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Nov. 10, 17, 24,  Dec. 1, 8, 15.

Litany for Remembrance and Healing

As part of our service recognizing the important work of the Cameron House-PCC Healing Committee, we used this litany during our time of prayer. Unable to forget the violation done to us, we cry: Help
