Lenten Devotions

Daily devotions can help us deepen our understanding of how God is calling us.

Good Enough:
Embracing the Imperfections of Life and Faith

Lent can be a time of deepened reflection – a time to take stock of our lives and how our faith is progressing. We will examine our lives during Lent, but rather than feeling guilty about what we haven’t accomplished, we will spend time questioning how our culture’s obsession with achievement and perfection actually keeps us from the true depths of life and faith. We will embrace our holy, “good enough,” lives.

Tuning In

We all need to be like Martha at times, but we also need to be like Mary - sitting still and tuning in to Jesus.

Living Light

How can we throw off the load of expectations and "shoulds" that clutter our lives and our serenity and our relationship with God?

Luke 12:29-34

A Time for Every Matter

Do our devices blur the lines between busy and rest? Is there a time for every matter - rest as well as work as well as prayer?
